We cannot consider our airport as merely a travel hub; here, every day, as well as serving as a destination for our passengers, it is a place where a variety of people and identities meet and work together, from SACBO staff to suppliers, as well as the organisations and contractors who actively collaborate with us. A true community forms within the terminal, and we believe that further opportunities for involvement, even outside of working hours, are an ideal way to strengthen personal bonds. Initiatives such as the BGY Football Cup and the BGY Padel Cup bring the various “spirits” of the airport closer together.
Activities for recreation and bonding play a fundamental role in creating a positive and inclusive working environment. Sport is an effective way to bring people together, as is the case of our tournaments in teams formed from within the airport, who have been competing for months in a climate of healthy competition and fun.
The most important new feature for 2024 is the BGY Padel Cup, which has captured the interest of the airport personnel, creating a tight-knit group that meets regularly to play. The result is not only physical fitness, but above all a stronger sense of belonging within the airport community.
These initiatives contribute to creating a positive and productive working environment, where every member feels they are part of a winning team both in competition and in their working lives.
