The artistic and historical treasures of Bergamo were at the heart of a very special experience dedicated to all SACBO and BGYIS employees. This initiative, promoted by the airport, offered a series of guided tours aimed at deepening participants’ knowledge of Bergamo’s rich cultural heritage.
These kinds of experiences are not only a chance to immerse oneself in history and art, but also serve as valuable team-building opportunities—helping to strengthen the bonds between colleagues. The informal and stimulating context of the visits enhances the sense of belonging to a team that shares moments together both inside and outside the workplace, reinforcing relationships and group dynamics.
The program was structured around two main itineraries: one focused on Bergamo’s iconic landmarks, and the other on the masterpieces housed in the Accademia Carrara.
Through guided tours, participants explored unique sites such as the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore and its famous wooden inlays, delved into medieval Bergamo with its museums, towers, and historic buildings, discovered the Centro Piacentiniano and the Lotto Altarpieces, and even retraced the life of composer Donizetti through a dedicated itinerary. The visits to the Accademia Carrara, meanwhile, offered a special journey through priceless works of art, allowing employees to experience an immersive blend of art and history.
This initiative proved to be a meaningful opportunity for cultural enrichment and connection, giving participants a fresh perspective on their city. It also reflects SACBO’s ongoing commitment to promoting local heritage and offering its team moments of personal and collective growth.
