On Saturday, April 12th, 2025, the streets of Bergamo lit up in a different light—one cast by the bicycles of the Social Moon Ride, the nighttime cycling event organized by Aribi, the Association for the Promotion of Cycling. A free event, it transformed the city into a stunning stage to celebrate cycling, road safety, and the joy of riding together.
The ride, open to all, took participants on a scenic tour around Milan Bergamo Airport, offering a unique and enchanting nighttime view of the city bathed in moonlight. The initiative was made possible through the collaboration of various local organizations, including SACBO, which supported the event as part of its commitment to promoting sustainability.
The Social Moon Ride was born from the desire to encourage a healthier, more active, and environmentally friendly lifestyle through greater use of bicycles. It stands as a concrete example of how collaboration between local associations and institutions can create a positive impact on the territory, promoting collective well-being and a new sense of community—greener, more inclusive, and more mindful.
