SACBO President Giovanni Sanga recently announced that Milan Bergamo Airport has joined an innovative project for the future of mobility within the terminal.
In light of a focus on environmental issues and energy recovery, Milan Bergamo Airport, in collaboration with BreBeMi, is participating in the “Arena del Futuro” (arena of the future) experiment, a project that aims to revolutionise methods for the recharging of electric vehicles, as well as a range of mechanical working equipment.
By using magnetic induction, this study aims to create a new procedure for recharging vehicles, which, passing through dedicated lanes, will be able to regenerate energy while on the move, without having to stop at charging stations.
