For years, Milan Bergamo Airport has been at the service of the community. Thanks to collaborations and partnerships with local organisations, the airport has become an entity that provides support for initiatives and projects in the name of inclusivity and charity.
The Accademia dello Sport per la Solidarietà (Academy of Sport for Solidarity), based in Bergamo, is a sports association that, since 2002, has focused on a precise goal; to help others with sport through events, tournaments and other types of encounter.
SACBO will be providing support during the traditional annual tennis tournament, which this organisation runs every year, collaborating with sportspeople and volunteers.
We will therefore be active from 17 May to 10 June 2023, together with professional tennis players from the province and beyond, to raise funds for three different associations:
AIPD – the Italian Association of Persons with Down’s Syndrome
AEPER – the Association for Education, Prevention and Re-introduction
ANMIC – the National Association of the Civil Wounded and Disabled People.
We are proud to provide our support to a project like the one organised by the Academy; we are convinced that initiatives involving play and competition can unite people and organisationsfrom different worlds and, together, in the name of altruism, make concrete actions possible for the well-being of the people.
