From February 2 to 9, 2025, Bergamo and Schilpario served as the stage for the Nordic Ski World Championships, an event that brought together athletes and enthusiasts from all over the world. This competition not only delivered endless excitement and adrenaline but also offered an incredible experience amid the peaks of Val di Scalve.
The opening ceremony, held on Sunday, February 2, in Schilpario, officially kicked off the event with an engaging program and a moment of celebration and sharing. Featuring parades, national anthems, and a festive gathering in the town square, it was a special occasion to honor the values of sports: fair competition, passion, and personal growth.
Throughout the week, the slopes of Schilpario hosted top-level races, where Junior and Under-23 categories competed for world titles in various disciplines, including sprints, mass start races, mixed relays, and more.
