Milan Bergamo Airport and the Pigiama Run 2024: An Unusual Event for a Great Cause

On September 20th, the first edition of the Pigiama Run took place in Bergamo—a non-competitive race organized by LILT Bergamo that filled the city streets with a sea of pajamas, all worn in support of children battling cancer.

Starting from Parco Suardi, hundreds of participants, both young and old, ran a 4-kilometer route through some of the most picturesque spots in the historic center. The festive and engaging atmosphere, combined with the awareness of contributing to a noble cause, made the event even more special.

Milan Bergamo Airport, always committed to supporting the community and those in need, actively backed the Pigiama Run, reinforcing its dedication to the local area. Promoting medical and healthcare research is essential to making a real impact on people’s well-being.

Thanks to the participation of numerous runners and other partners, significant funds were raised for Casa Amoris Laetitia, a facility that provides care and support for children with oncological diseases and their families. This contribution will help improve the quality of life for young patients.

The Pigiama Run 2024 was much more than just a race—it was an experience of solidarity and togetherness, proving that by uniting our efforts, we can make a real difference and achieve something truly extraordinary.
