BGY supports Trei’nBici, for local culture and sustainability

Initiatives to promote a more sustainable lifestyle begin from a grassroots level, with the community coming together for significant and necessary change. Among the many events to which it lends its support, Milan Bergamo Airport recently contributed to an essential summer moment for Bergamo that combines culture and sustainable transport.

Trei’nBici Vintage took place on 30 June 2024; a vintage bike ride that attracted many cycling and vintage bike enthusiasts, creating a lively and fun atmosphere. There were two routes to choose from, a “vintage” route of 70 km, and an “ecological bike ride” of 30 km, crossing the Bergamo area.

We are delighted to have taken part in this event, which fully embraces commitments and values that SACBO considers to be of the utmost importance: promotion of the local area, above all its most unspoiled aspects; the celebration of sustainable mobility involving the cycling community, a core element of the entire event; and the promotion of a “green” culture, also drawing on the vintage aspects of the event, which sees circularity not simply as a commitment to the environment, but as a veritable lifestyle.

Milan Bergamo Airport continues to play an active role in promoting local initiatives, contributing to building a better-informed and more committed community.
