“L’Arte Vola”: Milan Bergamo Airport and Accademia Carrara Unite to Promote Bergamo’s Artistic Heritage

Milan Bergamo Airport strengthens its commitment to promoting the city of Bergamo through its well-established partnership with Accademia Carrara, one of the most prominent cultural institutions in the Orobic region. This collaboration has evolved over the years thanks to various initiatives, with Hello Carrara standing out—a selection of artworks from the museum displayed in the HelloSky Lounge at our terminal. These initiatives create a unique intersection between art and travel, enhancing and reinforcing tourism opportunities in both the city and the province.

In the winter of 2024, another project was launched with “L’Arte Vola”: on December 20, 15,000 coupons were distributed at Milan Bergamo Airport, allowing free entry to Accademia Carrara until January 31, 2025. Meanwhile, on December 22, 500 coupons were handed out at the museum, granting free access along with Fast Track privileges for priority security screening before departure. This initiative promotes both institutions beyond their usual spaces, serving as a tangible testament to the ongoing dialogue between them.

Milan Bergamo Airport and Accademia Carrara stand as a shining example of how art, culture, and mobility can intertwine to enhance the region. Their partnership goes beyond simple promotion, creating a shared experience that enriches both travelers and residents alike.
