The importance of education: SACBO takes part in Confindustria Bergamo’s rubrica #123

As always open to collaborations and interventions in projects promoted by Bergamo-based organisations, over recent weeks we were guests of rubrica #123, in which Confindustria Bergamo offered us the opportunity to examine in depth a theme that is particularly important for us; internal training.

Rubrica #123 – 1 encounter, 2 voices, 3 questions, is a space that the local industrial consortium Servizi Confindustria Bergamo dedicates to stories of companies. It is a weekly event aimed at presenting and providing an in-depth examination of some of the most important organisations active in the Bergamo area.

On 12 July we had the honour of taking part in the programme with our own Laura Monteleone, the HR Training and Development Manager, who was a guest during the session entitled “Formazione costante e innovativa per la crescita aziendale: l’esperienza di SACBO S.P.A.” (Constant and innovative training for company growth; the experience of SACBO S.P.A.).

The talk focused on the themes of training and growth for internal collaborators as a key factor in increasing competitiveness.

The interview examined a number of the projects that, developed over the years, have led us to now be one of the most attentive and active companies in this regard, such as programmes to bring young people into the company, digital training for the post-pandemic recommencement of activities, tailor-made training courses, as well as a focus on future areas for training.

In confirmation of the importance that SACBO places on staff training, the data extracted from our Sustainability Report highlight how, also over the course of 2021, the company carried forward a highly significant programme dedicated to staff.
