With the aim of ensuring that standards in mobility are constantly raised, Milan Bergamo Airport is working to provide its travellers with various alternatives for getting to and from the terminal.
To this end, the main project is the direct connection between the airport and Bergamo railway station, with the building of a section that will bring passengers to a point 200 metres from the terminal.
Furthermore, in 2021 BGY was certified as Europe’s first Bike Friendly airport; as already detailed in this article, over the years SACBO has developed a series of initiatives and actions aimed at encouraging the use of bicycles among employees, passengers and citizens.
