The pleasure of small gestures; SACBO for World Kindness Day.

The pleasure of small gestures; SACBO for World Kindness Day.

On Sunday 13 November, for World Kindness Day, we wanted to celebrate the beauty of friendliness at our airport.

During the day, travellers arriving at and departing from our terminal were greeted by our staff and given gerbera flowers and chocolates.

Three stations were set up; one in the airside arrivals area, one in the Schengen flight departures area and another in the area reserved for non-Schengen flights, all staffed by BIS ground handling and SACBO personnel, allowing passengers to enjoy the spirit of the day through small but meaningful gestures

Established in Japan in 1988, the aim of this initiative is to promote attention and respect towards others, kindness, patience, care, and listening to the needs of other people without forgetting our own.

An important initiative, which in this day and age is even more important, and is intended to remind us of the pleasure of sharing and being together.

These are essential values that render a community such as the airport an even more pleasant environment in which to spend time leading up to one of the most exciting experiences: travel.
