An airport is not just a place of departures and arrivals—it can be seen as a dynamic stage where aircraft of every shape and color parade daily. The ones who capture its essence through images are the spotters: passionate photographers who, with patience and dedication, reveal the soul of an airport. For Milan Bergamo Airport, the bond with the OrioSpotters Group association is authentic and meaningful, strengthened by special events such as the annual Ramp Tour.
This year as well, coinciding with the Monza Grand Prix weekend, the airport aprons opened to welcome the group’s photographers. The date is no coincidence: the motorsport event attracts a particularly diverse air traffic, offering spotters the opportunity to photograph rare liveries and private jets that do not usually fly over Bergamo.
The Ramp Tour is the result of ongoing dialogue and close collaboration, designed to ensure that enthusiasts can enjoy a unique photographic experience carried out in complete safety within operational areas.
This synergy goes far beyond the single event. The photographic archive created by the OrioSpotters, also shared on social media, forms a visual narrative of airport life: a valuable record that documents the growth and evolution of Milan Bergamo Airport and celebrates the beauty of the aviation world.
