Individual well-being and group well-being are closely connected—especially in the workplace. SACBO is committed to creating opportunities for employees to feel good within their teams. From the collaboration between the General Management and Human Resources Department comes Walk & Fly, a team building project dedicated to all employees of Milan Bergamo Airport. The initiative is designed to encourage walking together, fostering a healthier, more united, and motivated work environment.
Walk & Fly aims to:
- Promote physical and mental well-being through outdoor physical activity
- Strengthen bonds between colleagues and nurture a sense of belonging
- Offer a concrete break from daily routines to recharge body and mind
- Encourage team spirit in an informal and inclusive setting
The program includes 10 sport walking sessions between April and July, organized with the support of an expert in walking and posture techniques. Each session combines theory and practice—participants learn how to walk better, and also how to better connect with one another.
No special preparation is required—what matters most is the willingness to move and share the journey with colleagues.
Walking together has a value that goes far beyond simple exercise:
- It improves muscle tone, posture, and endurance
- Reduces stress and boosts daily energy
- Strengthens interpersonal relationships and teamwork
- Builds a company culture more focused on well-being and people
Walking becomes a simple yet powerful act, promoting health, connection, and a sense of community.
